Cooking Classes


New for 2010! Learn to prepare healthy meals and make new friends while you’re at it. Our cooking classes are based on our hugely successful Party Thyme interactive dinner parties. For a $50 registration fee you receive:

June 12, 2010: Back to Basics

In this class you will learn basic knife skills by Chef Gregg. You will learn to make Shelly’s Famous “Grandma’s Chicken” with a twist or two. We will teach you the basics of baking a chicken with roasted veggies for an all in one easy meal!

Kids’ Cooking Camp

We are excited about our 2010 summer program. We have lots in store for your little chef. Below is our class schedule and menu for the summer. Classes will be held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 1 to 3 pm. There is $75.00 enrollment fee that covers supplies and personalized aprons and classes are $25.00 each. Come to one or come to all! Students will receive a recipe booklet at each class to take home to share with their family. Releases and allergy questionnaires will be provided at enrollment.

June 9th
The Basics – Students will learn basic kitchen safety, how to read a recipe, measuring skills, and herb and spice tasting and indentifying.

June 23rd
Pizza Cupcakes, Fruit Pizza, and Chef Shelly’s Punch

July 14th
Taco Soup, Fruit Skewers with Fruit Dip, and Herbal Tea

July 28th
Veggie Pizza, Home-Made Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, and Shirley Temples

August 11th
Breakfast Bread, Berry Yogurt Parfait and Spiced Tea

August 25th
Grilled Banana and Nutella Panini’s, Berry Mess, and Strawberry Milk Shake
